Storage Agreement

The terms that apply when you reserve a hardstand space at our Maddington facility.

This is a working draft for the website. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed before you rely on it.

1. Parties and the space

This agreement is between you (the customer) and Move Yourself Self Storage of 14 Myola South Place, Maddington WA 6109 (we, us). When we accept your booking, we allocate you a specific outdoor hardstand bay for an approved item — typically a caravan, trailer, registered vehicle, boat on a trailer, or shipping container.

2. What we provide

  • An allocated outdoor hardstand space at the Maddington facility
  • PIN-code entry and exit after your booking is approved
  • 24/7 video surveillance of the facility
  • Access hours as confirmed at booking

We do not store goods on your behalf inside the item, and we do not provide indoor units.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Store only the approved item described in your booking
  • Keep the item reasonably secured, registered where required, and in a safe condition
  • Hold suitable insurance for the item — we recommend this and do not insure it for you
  • Not store prohibited, hazardous, illegal, perishable, explosive or flammable items, or live animals or plants
  • Pay fees on time and keep your contact details current
  • Not interfere with other customers, cameras, fencing, or access systems

4. Fees and payment

Storage is billed monthly in advance through Stripe as a recurring payment. Published prices start from the amounts shown on our Pricing page and may vary by size and type. Any GST, deposit, establishment fee, or notice period will be shown before you pay. We do not store your card details.

5. Access

A PIN is issued only after management approves your booking. Video surveillance operates around the clock. Physical access hours are confirmed when you book. We may suspend access if fees are unpaid or if we reasonably believe the agreement has been breached.

6. Risk and liability

You store the item at your own risk. We are not responsible for damage, theft, or weather events. To the extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to resupplying the storage service or paying the cost of doing so. Nothing in this agreement excludes rights you cannot contract out of under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Ending the agreement

Either party may end the agreement in line with our Cancellation Policy. We may also end it if the item is prohibited or unsafe, or if fees remain unpaid. You must remove the item by the end date and leave the bay clear.

8. Changes and law

We may update this agreement for new bookings. The version you accept at checkout applies to that booking. This agreement is governed by the laws of Western Australia.
